A brilliant summary of this government.
Please forgive.
Self explanatory – says it all and no comment needed. This is how the capitalist world is acting at present.
That is how the capitalist world acts at all times.
although it needs another frame or two showing the person coming up with a succesful idea that would take away some of the ‘banker’s’ money and the person being driven into ruin
Superb.
10 min Rob Reich vid debunking right wing lies. Many parallels with NZ.
Thanks for that video. Among the words of wisdom is that we mustn’t allow cynicism to take over our minds. That is what they want – [the anti-democrats]. And when people feel that there is nothing they can do to change anything that is when demagogues rise up and start blaming the usual suspects. sorry, wont spam anymore
he really is very good.
Robert Reich is simply reminding us that we, like the USA, have only one political party: the Business Party. The Business Party has two branches: Business National and Business Labour.
When money talks, politicians listen. Some call it bribery, but not me. I’m a polite Kiwi. ; )
Its whats good for business profits = is good for all of us. Therefore national efforts are geared toward maintaining business confidence at whatever cost and buttressing profit at whatever cost. There is no other game plan.
+1
Exactly and that is why the majority of us are getting poorer. All the countries wealth and effort is going to keeping the rich rich instead of supporting society.
The raison d’etre of right wing governments — make everyone broke đ
