More sport cancelled, except those under paid women. Is netball ever cancelled? Girls and women running around in the freezing rain and wind, and that is from cold from a Jafa basis where the temps are mild.
Well the weather has been wet so no gardening .Thats the excuse anyway .So my wife and I caught up with the good films doing the rounds.
First on the list Barney’s Version. Wonderfull Yidish humor and some sadness . Great film do see! However of course the high of the whole month IL Trovatore. Opera lovers do not miss this, out of the world production from The Met. Last but not least Magie Smith at her best in From Time to Time. A most enjoyable film . safe for all the family.
So now back the garden !.
Does anyone know if Canterbury Drain Doctor’s (Ltd) are legit? A guy came past today claiming that we could have our sewer line checked out and repaired for free, all courtesy of the EQC. However, the EQC has in the past made it clear that infrastructure on private property is entirely the home owner’s problem if they don’t have insurance.
And a google search shows up jack all other that advertising sites…
Not a very sociable weekend! I was back in Christchurch. As ever I am amazed at how well people are coping.
