The shiny new newsroom website is now up and running. They have a strong team, and a great first scoop on the sale of falsely labelled “free range” eggs. Hope for a clickbait-free news site at last?
Hey everyone. I'm incredibly proud and excited that https://t.co/9wINHW2KCs is up. And so is our https://t.co/NUaBeNwCnC subscription site.

The server will be getting hardware changes this evening starting at 10pm NZDT.
The site will be off line for some hours.
All sounds very promising. A bright start on a dull damp day.
I’m going to drop in Newsroom into my comments/posts as my way of supporting this site like so:
I see from Newsroom that Woodland eggs are also part of the scandal. I have always brought eggs with the SPCA logo on them and would be very disappointed if any of those were affected.
You mean the National Party flavoured Tim Murphy ex NZ Herald of 2014 smear David Cunliffe fame or the National Party flavoured Mark Jennings, creater of monsters like Henry, Garner and Gower.
No thanks, been there done that!
Keith
They also serve who aren’t up with the purest, and I think that newsroom shouldn’t be thumbed down. Give them a chance. They are being run by NZs for a start, and they might be like throwing the body in front of the train otherwise running for the broken bridge. It will increase our news outlets and we may shift the diet of Trump from 80/20 to 20/80 where it should be.
