They have “will a Minister depart in 2014” and they have Judith to depart before the election, but she seems to have some competition.
Simon Bridges seems to be this week’s minister to make a play, with just plain incompetence.
Hekia is loving having 2 other ministers on the scandal page above her – as she continues steam-rolling closing Christchurch school.
Amy Adams still has some conflicts of interest to clean up.
This is a cabinet in crisis.
You’d need an “Other Minister” category, as who knows which other scandals are lurking, or whether Bennett’s Beneficiary Bashing finally goes too far, or maybe it will just become too clear that “Mr Fixit” doesn’t actually fix anything (certainly not Novopay).
[Still at least Treasury are trying to help – their over-estimating tax-take by $1billion won’t affect next year’s predictions and hence affect Bill’s desperate government surplus (shame about the $50 billion you’ve already borrowed Bill). They’ll just go on blithely predicting better results than National achieve, just like they continually predicted worse results than Labour achieved…]

It is a shame that the Novapay contract was signed up under Labour. If National had canned it when they first got in, Labour would have complained about the cancelling of their contract.
