Brownlee admits he’s struggling

So our resolution on Israel & Palestine at the end of last year wasn’t “premature” or lacking in support after all.

Poor Gerry’s in a spin.  After 9 years of government, he still can’t cope:

“Under the intense scrutiny of a Radio New Zealand journalist’s questioning I used some language that perhaps made that less than clear.”

English had to row back for him, saying he was struggling to get the right language.  Which is kinda core to the the foreign minister’s job, no?

As we had it here – between this desperate denying of our principles, which was unsuccessful with the Israelis; and rolling over to Australia – he’s not up to the job.

(but it’s election year, so they can’t get rid of him…)

Gerry is too dumb to be our foreign Minister he is also rude, arrogant and lacks any diplomacy but his electorate keep voting him in.

and those are his good qualities lol

Out of his depth, well above his natural paygrade and everyone suffers including him.

Why I wonder .He is a such proponent of an open door policy.

I actually have a bit of sympathy for the guy as he is obviously well out of his depth, and he has had a rough spin with Christchurch which from all reports hasn’t been handled particularly well.

He certainly gets some stick on the Blog Sites.

National own Chc so big Jerry did something right considering the voters dragged themselves away from the delusions of labour for the last 3 elections and will do so again

Christchurch is a disaster. Social ills are off the scale which is down to the hand’s off approach employed by right wing people when tasked with managing communities.

Imagine putting the least compassionate bully in parliament in charge of rebuilding a city.

Tamati why have sympathy for him he has none for many others he deserves everything he gets and if those people of chch keep voting him in they deserves everything they don’t get

Red….watch this space. The effects of the earthquakes had a lot to do with the 2014 election results (eg wiping out chunks of the city, population shifting to other electorates, new influx of younger residents). Christchurch wont be kept down by this lot of scammers for long.

I know that this govt is achieving what its wants – higher house prices, lower wages, good returns for the bludging shareholders – but sometimes the sheer incompetency does shine through.

I don’t envy the MFAT flaneurs their job. It would be easier teaching an elephant to tapdance.
