Only one more sleep until you march up Queen St! More than 800 people have signed up to ‘take steps against child poverty’ on CPAG’s Facebook page and loads more have emailed us they’re coming too. We’re expecting a fantastic crowd!
This is going to be a super kid-friendly event so please bring the whole family and let’s show New Zealand we want a fair deal for all our beautiful children. We’ve got lots of balloons, flags, face painters, bubble blowing, stilt walkers, music, interactive art and heaps more! There’s even some free food. Word is the sun is going to shine too!
Lucy Lawless, Bryan Bruce and Diane Robertson (CEO of the Auckland City Mission) are speaking as well representatives from most of the political parties. (Come on Act and Conservatives, we’d love to have you here too!)
Join us in ‘taking steps against child poverty’ from Britomart to Aotea Square to call for real action on child poverty in our country.
For more details visit the website, join the event on Facebook or download the flyer.
Please let all your friends, family and networks know too – every person – no matter how small – counts!
