He now claims that there was not one organisational chart as initially claimed, but that he was referring to an amalgam of the many Health NZ organisational charts he had seen

The Herald requested the specific chat Reti had referred to in the press conference under the Official Information Act. The request was finally answered this week, with Reti’s office conceding: “In response to your request, an organisational chart that covers the entirety of Health New Zealand’s structure does not exist”.

NZH is barking up the wrong tree and should ask Dr Levy how he and Dr Reti determined exactly the BMI of their patient after only a digital examination of the retrograde orifice. [BMI = Bloated Management Index]

We know Luxon is not good at spelling, and now maths. Perhaps they looked at a number of parts of Health NZ. Could have been 14 different hospitals or whatever.

Each one may have had 5,6,7 layers of management and they tried to average it out. Of course, 14 would be the answer . . .

Teaching the basics brilliantly is one of National's education policies. But put into practice, Luxon may need to brush up on his own basics.

While Luxon corrected one student at a Hamilton school that the word 'car' is spelt "C-A-R" not "C-A-T", a child then spelt 'can' as "K-A-N" and Luxon repeated it back.

          "K-A-N, very good."

'Can' is spelt with a C.

One child spelled out "K-A-T" next.

Luxon then asked, "what is K-A-T?"

          The children responded: "Cat."

Luxon said: "Cat, I am just checking, I am just checking."

          One from three – cat-astrophic.

As i said elsewhere, seems like there are 14 layers between the truth and a national government statement

  1. SPC 3

The UK government is moderating its support for Israel.

They were the resumption of funding for UNRWA, the UN’s agency for Palestinian refugees.

And the dropping of plans to challenge the right of the International Criminal Court to seek an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“Following a rigorous process in line with the UK’s legal obligations, the UK Government has concluded that there is a clear risk that military exports to Israel, where used for military operations in Gaza, might be used in serious violations of international humanitarian law.”

The Tory Shadow Foreign Secretary responded with

“all the appearance of something designed to satisfy Labour’s backbenches, while at the same time not offending Israel, an ally in the Middle East. I fear it will fail on both counts”.
