The current rise of populism challenges the way we think about people’s relationship to the economy. We seem to be entering an era of populism, in which leadership in a democracy is based on preferences of the population which do not seem entirely rational nor serving their longer interests. ...

Mallard apologises for publicly calling a staff member a rapist.
If you could call it him apologising personally given it is written in 3rd person and a bit of a cop out.
Guess Labour now know one of the places to look for their fixation on hate speech is internally.
Guessing had to be advised meant he was about to get his arse sued off him.

Apology accepted.
(I have no proof of this, But just sounds reasonable)
And a sizable wad of cash in the background just in time for Xmas to stop him suing I am guessing.
In other words, you making it up as you go without a modicum of evidence to support your ‘guesses’? Unless you have something more substantial than your wild imagination I’d suggest you keep your insinuations to yourself or post them on another blog site, if you must share them with likeminded fantasists. To be clear, this is not merely stating your opinion but starting (spreading?) unsubstantiated rumours, which is reminiscent of DP. Here on TS, we have developed antibodies against DP and all of its mutant offshoots. For your sake, I hope I’ve made it clear enough!
Your probably right.
I bet the sudden advisement for him to do a personal apology during a defamation case was just him having a sudden realisation he The person in charge of parliament, as he said, didn't know what rape was.
From the article
"Trevor Mallard accepts that his understanding of the definition of rape at that time was incorrect and that the alleged conduct did not amount to rape (as that term is defined in the Crimes Act 1961) and that it was incorrect of him to suggest otherwise,"
And I am sure Mallard didn't pay the blokes legal fees and throw him some cash to stop the case.

I think from now on it is probably just easier to not answer your posts that aren't mod related when you comment on my posts.
All good.
[Actually, no, not “all good”.
Your comments are those of a poorly informed biased person with reading comprehension deficits and you’re trying to put this onto me when and because I pull you up on your poor performance. I don’t know whether to laugh or to cry.
Here are your two options: lift your bloody game or stay the hell off this site. I have a guts full of you.
Do you need it any clearer? – Incognito]
