Good i think that the gov is finally banning live exports of animals overseas .One issue is their welfare at sea and ive seen some horrible vidio of sheep transports for example .Another aspect to the trade is an animals welfare once theyve arrived and imo many cultures just do not think of animal welfare in the same way we do .Recently on rnz a vet who has visited china many times expressed his utter disgust at the treatment of cows in china .Seems odd that dairy farmers are in favour of exporting prime breeding stock to china when surely once the chinese have sufficient numbers ……….
