Herald headline tonight: 'Our species is under attack': Opposition parties react to alert level announcement.'

If the attack on the species wreaks havoc does that mean there'll be a devastation of arseholes?

TV1 news had pretty sensible acceptance from the few people interviewed. I was expecting the opposite so was pleasantly surprised.

Jacinda as she always does, presented so well at 3pm. Takes control, but with grace and style.

Mustve been the ones RNZ rejected….something of a moan-fest there

I think it was pretty indicative of what was expected by those in Auckland and most were accepting of the position, we are nearly there, lets err on the side of caution, for every ones sake.

It was similar over on Newshub – surprise, surprise and Tova was pretty muted with her report as well.

Hi lprent, page loads taking about 1 minute; can’t reply to comments from my mobile device.

    Not a DDOS I hope?

Think continuing with level 3 for ak and 2 elsewhere absolutely the right thing to do. So much pressure on the govt to move sooner, so very brave……Jacinda is perfection in the way she communicates.

Thank god we have a brave strong leader who does the right thing

Dr Elana Curtis from Te Roopu Whakakaupapa Uruta

Remember the name of this group, it has started an unreasonable demand for personal autonomy at a time when nobody should be getting special treatment, even Gerry Brownlee. Shocking all right.

It is people like "Dr Elana Curtis" who give their cause a bad name. If she is a doctor of medicine then she should know better!

The current cluster had the potential to become huge due to the life style of the Pacific people. By that I mean they like to congregate in large groups… be it in a church or recreational activity. It was imperative they get it under control in the fastest time possible.

It is about saving lives Dr Curtis – saving the lives of our Pacific Island citizens.angry

Edit: What is more: their leaders are very grateful that the government has taken these steps.

    • Really quite sick of the bullshit and people standing on their soapboxes.
    • if you are not part of the solution and do everything you personally can to stamp the virus out and then when it’s safe if you can support local businesses and Foodbanks then you are part of the problem

For a while I was lprent in the Replies. Mwaa-hahahaha – omnipotence is mine! But then I omnipotented into the void, I had no replies at all. Back to normal now, adventures are over. *sigh*

They are replies to your other login Draco, e.g Patricia 2. Be more careful not to self dox in future.

I lucked out my other login was Andre (so much winding people up, so little internet comment time).
