     The MSM’s been reporting that ‘both parties internal polling’ have Labour still behind (just). In other words, what Roy Morgan said: Greens plus Labour have the numbers.

     So I don’t know about the low thirties: 35-37 would do the trick 😈

   I notice Bill English keeps on pushing his rubbish lines about the new government.

   “They are weak and in disarray. They are not good managers and will squander the money on the wrong things. He, Bill, is personally popular. ”

   He is careful not to mention Jacinda or Winston by name, and says “the Leader and Willie Jackson had an argument about Te Reo.”

   Now the truth was Willie was expressing an aspiration, his Leader reminded him of the current lack of suitable teachers. They did not argue. Discussion goes with progress.

   Of course if you come from the FPP mentality, you say how it will be, no discussion or consultation, instead you pass rules under “urgency.”

   He has admitted I note, that should his popularity go as Andrew Little’s did he would resign …. well we can but hope.

   The man has limited humility, an inflated sense of entitlement, and did not own any of the issues caused by his government’s mismanagement.

   Its what I never understood about Bill’s budget surpluses celebrated by the gov and the media. Why celebrate the underfunding of essential services and infrastructure when that is what it takes to achieve surplus? It just seemed dumb. Now the left is left to clean up the mess. Again.

     Because the few were having a great party [no pun] at the expense of the many and they wanted and still want it to continue for as long as possible. Some liken them to a toddler whose toy has been taken away of fallen out of the sandpit or to somebody who’s going through the stages of grief. I think it is more like a P addict whose supply has been temporarily shut off. Both (i.e. the toddler and the addict) will behave in predictable ways, mostly.

Every time I heard Rock Star Economy (spit) I think of all the poor and starving and homeless and disenfranchised and innocent children going without the most basic necessities? of life and I just want to weep. But God willing,times are a changing.We might just return to the egalitarian society that the previous to the previous pm was apparently so proud of being part of.( All lies of course).

       Every time I hear (or heard about) our “Rock Star” economy I’m wondering when I’m getting my trip on “The Star Ship” http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Starship Anyway I can’t imagine poor old Bill partying with Led Zeppelin without crying for his poor old ma.

       But of course only the top Rock Stars ever got to fly in the Star ship, The rest toured in a beat up old VW combie.

       Unless I missed something (Apologies if I did) the article is about housing being around 72,000 (I’m guessing this is the high estimate to add affect) short and it is a massive shock to Labour.

       While it was publicly stated it was estimated at least 60,000 short (I’m gussing this is the low end to male the nats look less crap) in Feb and growing.

       Did Labour miss it?

             They are saying 72,000 homes short IS a major issue and have simply stated facts that it has spiralled under National who are so short sighted and lacking in care or ideas that they could only come up with using cheap motels to solve the problem.

             Now Labour re in government they are dealing with it….that’s what they are saying .

             unlike English who say’s “[Labour] are trying to spin it as some kind of big problem”….and his mate John Key who denied there was any crisis at all and focused on which pony tail to pull next.

   Since Labour is now wasting time filibustering its own lack of policies, will we see anything change? National have Labour on the rack at Question Time every day, and not even Mallard can save them. English won the popular vote over Labour, and nothing can change that, not even Mr Seven Percent. Mr English is our wisest PM to date, and hence, the majority wanted him as PM. Karma is already kicking in, the ineptness of this new govt is unprecedented. Clark at least had capable, experienced ministers, Ardern’s lot come across as newbie students. Winston often looks embarrassed…

     Interesting opinion. A wise PM wouldn’t need to resort to obfuscation, a majority isn’t 44% and ineptness looks more like Bill English on The Nation this morning when he refused to take any responsibilities for the failures of his Government. Try again!

       Had he been so “wise” then efforts would have been made to start reducing the housing shortage rather than boasting about a surplus and possible tax cuts..
       A “wise” man would have won the election easily as his wisdom and great attributes would have shone through.
