   There were three ministers present: Wayne Mapp, Maurice Williamson and Jonathan Coleman. All three have denied seeing or hearing anything and claim the story has been made up.

         NZ gave all blacks tops with a silver fern to the forum members + an AB jersey

         However some were not so comfortable with the choice – notably Samoan PM Tuilaepa,
         Tonga’s PM Lord Tu’ivakano and Australia’s PM Julia Gillard – the three countries with teams in the Rugby World Cup.

         Mr Key joked he would make it compulsory for the first game tomorrow and had also given them All Blacks jerseys to wear.

         “I gave Julia Gillard two so if she loses one, she’ll have a spare. She looks good in black.”

           @Rosy This is not a good move. The black outfit is strictly ours. England wearing it is really low stuff, so I wonder what jester-fool chose it as suitable for the Forum. It’s so much ours, its diluting the brand, and a poor political move from the Forum’s standpoint. Joky Hen doesn’t need a jester, he has us to laugh at. Hah hah suckers.

       Rosy obviously you prefer to believe in fantasy instead of fact like a lot of comments being flaunted on this site. Jeeves was such a reliable source that he fucked up his information
       quote “and then when the Wallabies started to get on top, he suddenly left.” The wallabies started to get on top from the second half kick off and the fact is all three of the government ministers stayed to the end of the match. Also fact is Australians don,t like taking lip so I’m sure the Australian officials would have certainly made their feelings clear had there been such an incident Most politicians are normally full of shit but in this case I would prefer to believe in the facts instead of trashy journalism and as for appalling protocol three words sum that comment up under arm bowling.

        As far as Key raising the standard of Ministers , I am reasonably certain Craig that no National Minister has

        Purchased Porn videos with taxpayers money
        Taken young drunken males home and left them naked running down the street
        Purchased golf clubs and bikes with taxpayers money
        Used poorly educated foreigners seeking immigration permits , to do free work on their house.
        Stone taxpayers money to fund election campaigns etc etc etc

        And if they did , I am reasonably sure , that unlike the labour leadership , Key would sack them.

        So next time you , or Goff for that matter , want to bring up ministerial conduct , perhaps you should think before engaging brain

            Peter is talking about some completely different incident involving a ‘young boy’. I think he should report it to the police as no one else seems to have mentioned such an incident.

    Radio Live Tonight are saying that it has been identified that the bad mannered minister is Maurice Williamson.
    I tuned in too late to say how they know but the host (Karen Hay and that other guy) are saying that it is confirmed.
    This is the denial he made to Fairfax Media

    Three ministers were at the game – Maurice Williamson, Jonathan Coleman and Wayne Mapp. And all three say reports in Australian media that one of them booed, jeered and swore during the game were made up.
    “I saw no sign of anything,” Williamson said.
    “I enjoyed the game, it was an excellent match, there was no controversy and I’ve talked to everybody that I sat with now, and no one knows anybody that did anything. So where I was – there was nothing.
    I have no idea what has generated [the story] but all I know where I was [with the] the Australian High Commissioner, several other ministers, I saw nothing, heard nothing, of even the slightest [controversy].”

      Union official Robert Reid is quoted on Stuff , as saying he stood behind Maurice Williamson during the game , and their was no bad behaviour from Williamson.
      He also pointed out that he didnt like Williamson, presumably to give more credence to his comments

        Robert Reid called Karyn Hay & Andrew Fagan tonight (Tuesday, 13th September 2011). He was in the corporate box with Maurice Williamson at the Italy vs Australia match and confirmed it was Maurice Williamson that was verbally attacking the Wallabies. Robert also told us that Maurice Williamson was supplying his underage son with alcohol at the game.

        And the stuff article doesn’t say what you claim it says, he says there that Williamson was ‘boisterous’, (which is a description of bahaviour) but not ‘offensive’, (which is a description of his reaction to the bahaviour).

    Isn’t this person akin to what they call a ‘frat boy’ in the USA? And you have to ask whether he can handle the alcoholic jandal?

    But surely his real crimes against the people lie in his degrading of public broadcasting? I think Judge Dredd would probably apply termination with extreme prejudice. The gene pool would benefit.
