The Nats spent $420,000 on branding for the Ministry of Science and Innovation, which only existed for 18 months before being swallowed  by MoBIE. It included money for branded play putty… Shearer’s right: “The Government’s supposed public service reform is an incoherent ego trip for ministers. First Wayne Mapp wanted a stand-alone science ministry. But it was a case of new minister, new ministry as Steven Joyce came in and created his MoBIE empire”

F**ken douches! I could have project managed the whole thing for around $5k – $10k + print/web costs + GST!

This is what happens when you don’t have a plan… denied of course by the more rabid Nat supporter, but wasted money happens when you have no plan beyond the nightly polls you read…

‘The result of having a plan that doesn’t stretch beyond the nightly political polls you see on the television’.

‘Smile and wave’ your way through a ‘relaxed’ 3 year term in office ‘bouncing from cloud to cloud’.

Even if it costs tax payers $420,000 per time.

    Labour – for productive investment
    National – for PR consultants
