The current rise of populism challenges the way we think about people’s relationship to the economy. We seem to be entering an era of populism, in which leadership in a democracy is based on preferences of the population which do not seem entirely rational nor serving their longer interests. ...

Phew! New Zealand dodges a bullet …
“Prime Minister John Key has been bumped at the last minute from a worldwide televised climate change debate – in favour of Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.
The BBC World news debate today – dubbed The Greatest Debate on Earth – has been billed as the media highlight of the Copenhagen climate talks and the Prime Minister had announced he would be in it.
John Key was told only shortly before he arrived in Copenhagen the evening before the debate that he was not going to take part. The show promises to challenge leaders over their commitment to fighting climate change.
Spokesman Kevin Taylor said it was disappointing and that the PM would have to re-structure his day, which had been arranged around the debate.”

So the world doesn’t get to hear JK talk about our “immshuns chading skeem”, and make scripted “spontaneous” jokes like the embarrassing uncle at a wedding.
Thanks, BBC!
The loony Lord Monekytune proves he’s all class when he calls a a young Jewish climate change activist H1tler Youth after dropping in on the SustainUs booth in Copenhagen. The loony Lord’s visit was retaliation for having his own moment in the spotlight trashed by acitivists at the denialist group Americans For Prosperity. Following the protest at the denialist group, Monkeytune is caught on camera discussing the use of the legal process to silence IPCC scientists.
Wattaguy!
Just like Jim huh?

While there is a clear parallel between those who deny the holocaust and those who deny AGW, do you really believe there is a correlation between international protests and the H1tler Youth?
mindless chanting of slogans over and over, perhaps. Is it wrong to compare a group to what he compared them too? Absolutley. Should they have taken over the meeting they way they did? No way.
So BLiP, you think comparing climate change denial is the same as denying the holocaust?
Insomuchas the holocaust/AGW deniers are deliberately ignorant of facts concerning the death of millions. The only difference, really, is that there will be more deaths as a result of AGW.
I guess, like Jeanette, you would also compare mining to the loss of a child’s life?
So you support the loony lord calling a young Jew a member of the H1tler Youth? Thought so.
In case you missed it the first time BliP
“Is it wrong to compare a group to what he compared them too? Absolutley.”
So, back to the question I just asked- Do you think mining should be compared to the lose of a child’s life?
Also BLiP, you fail to mention when and where he called them that… incase you want to see it yourself, look here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPBxNVwD-uE&feature=related
See the second link. I guess that means YOU fail.
