“It’s over fifty years since JFK, MLK and RFK died”
I fear you may need a new calculator. It is only a minor point but John F Kennedy died in 1963.
Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy however died in 1968.

Snap! By chance we’ve been having a motown morning and were comparing civil rights then and now while listening to Marvin Gaye’s version of Abraham, Martin & John

    From this –

To in the news for a grammy – ‘Straight out of Comptom’

And then Stevie Wonder provides the link with ‘Living in the City’ (long version)

Some things change, some things are way beyond still needing to.

Comparing Sanders to Martin Luther King is a bit of a reach, even for a Sunday.

    • It’s more about noting that Sanders is trying to fight the fight they fought, Ad. But other than the front page blurb, I didn’t editorialise the post, so readers are free to make whatever comparisons they want 😉

JFK and RFK and MLK were all murdered by the commie hating military/ industrial complex in collusion with the CIA and the Mafia who probably supplied the hitmen.

President Kennedy and His Brother Robert Kennedy Were Murdered By The Military-Security Complex — Paul Craig Roberts

Martin Luther King — Paul Craig Roberts

” Martin Luther King, like John F. Kennedy, was a victim of the paranoia of the Washington national security establishment. Kennedy rejected General Lyman Lemnitzer’s Northwoods Project for regime change in Cuba, opposed the CIA’s invasion plan for Cuba, nixed Lemnitzer’s plans for conflict with the Soviet Union over the Cuban missile crisis, removed Lemnitzer as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and negotiated behind the scenes with Khrushchev to tone down the Cold War. Consequently, members of the military/security complex had it in for Kennedy and convinced themselves that Kennedy’s softness toward communism made him a security threat to the United States. The Secret Service itself was drawn into the plot. The films of the assassination show that the protective Secret Service personnel were ordered away from the President’s car just before the fatal shots. “

Mob hitman who says he was the man on the grassy knoll and killed JFK to be released – and he still insists he did it

James Files claims in the documentary I Killed JFK that he was the man who killed President John F. Kennedy
Files was moved from a high security jail to a less secure one in Illinois as he prepares for his release next spring after 36 years behind bars
Files says he was standing on the grassy knoll in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 and fired the shot that killed Pres. Kennedy
He also claims that Lee Harvey Oswald never fired a single shot, and that his boss Charles ‘Chuckie’ Nicoletti was in the book depository
Files claims that the CIA turned against Kennedy after the Bay of Pigs Invasion and plotted with the mafia to kill the president

Last night I watched Selma. It struck me that little has changed since then. Cops still brutalise and murder black people in the USA. The same hatred and desire to oppress and dominate exists.

Just like the in the video of Eric Garners daughter telling her daughter that they’re still fighting Rosa Parks’ fight. (paraphrased)

America needs to face up to the atrocities committed by it’s own government run terrorists instead of always looking towards the bogeyman offshore.

Thankyou for these videos. Martin Luther King was a brilliant moving and inspiring orator and incredibly courageous sensing he’d be martyred by the cruel U$ security arm. This man would leave in the dust any white preacher, he sacrificed his life for Black freedom.

The U$ thugocracy murdered the soul of America when they did RFK and MLK. JFK had already been murdered by the same scum. They all stood for the spirit of America crushed by the commie hating security and MIC ( Military Industrial Complex ) in collusion with the CIA and Mafia. JFK had said he intended to crush the CIA into a thousand pieces. But he was only one man.

Considering the immense War Crimes of the U$ since it’s obvious Wall Street and the Thugocracy one out, now America is a shell waiting on its own collapse.

    • My pleasure, johnm. While I wouldn’t go so far as to say the killings were the work of any shadowy grouping, to me they are linked by the culture of the US at that time. Killing still comes easy there, but in the sixties, the threat of black empowerment (or progressive Presidents) was enough to have many good people like the Kennedy’s, King and Malcolm X targetted and killed. Today’s situation, the one highlighted in the Sanders video, is systemic and all pervasive. To an extent, the black middle class has been co-opted. But working class black Americans, the poor, the recipients of welfare, are still beong killed in extraordinary numbers.

Being born black in the USA is a life threatening condition. It should have stopped being that way 5 decades ago.
