What's with Ireland? What's with their predilection to undercut as an ideological strategy?
The do it with their 15% corporate tax which attracts the global superstars of tax avoidance. And now they do it with screen production incentives.
If everyone held firm we might not have to use public money as as a carrot but the Irish (and others) are cheap disruptors. They should be called on it.

Thanks Muttonbird, I don't know Lexie but I wish I did. Many years go I was probably capable of making similar arguments, now I think I have just given up and I live my life as anonymously as I can, which is not very because I make no attempt to disguise myself but mostly I get by. I'm currently searching for a new place to live so it will be interesting to see if the current furore has any noticeable effect on that search.
Good luck with that search, Joanne. I do know that in New Zealand today finding secure housing is hard for even those not actively discriminated against. I hope you find somewhere nice.
