    Question time 7/5: mini-review..

(What follows is a subjective snapshot of proceedings .leavened with my biases..

A full transcript/video on demand are available @ NZ parliament ..)

Hoggard..minister for ending the war on farmers… lists all the protections for farmed animals that he is removing…(Cue pictures of cows/sheep knee-deep in mid-winter mud..)

.tories don't care about hurting humans..so one could assume they also couldn't care less about the welfare of the animals they exploit.

Luxon is up next..and the speaker seems to give him enormous laxity in just not answering questions..so luxon goes for it ..

He speaks irrelevant shite in his first answer..totally avoiding the content/meaning of the question asked…and then calls on his interviewee-style…and for any follow -up questions just repeats his first answer..and then repeats it again…(Once you notice that this is what he does…it is impossible to avoid it …it is most annoying to view/hear ..he would be the most duck-and-weave prime minister I have seen…trying to get a straight answer from him is like chasing smoke..)

But the (anti)-star of the day is police minister Mitchell ..as he stumbles/bumbles his way through answers..

I may have said before that he is a man drowning..not waving…

..and apart from stilted cliches about lawn-order..that he just repeats ..and repeats…(He is just copying luxon.)

..but he seems all at sea with his portfolio…

..straining to articulate the most basic ideas…

Labour's finance spokesperson gets performer-of-the-day..for her clear/concise questioning….in what was a somewhat lackluster question time…

Hogget, neither tender like lamb, nor full-flavoured like mutton.

Hoggart, neither tender like Nancy, nor full-flavoured like Winston. Known to be ankle deep when at work (knee deep when working with those who seek to imprison more of the domestic population while trafficking in live animals).

Another excellent summary! At some point Newshub will be in touch with an offer for you to join their 6.00pm bulletinsmiley. There will be no remuneration of course!

Note that the Chatham trip was organised a month ago and that the access to this electorate is not easy.

Rnz poll:…74.5% support for legalisation of all drugs…

    • Phillip ure 5.1

This idea is worth supporting for many reasons..

A same/rational approach to all drugs ..would mean that p-addicts would be able to get access to cocaine..to help them get over the nasty hump of p-withdrawals..

..and then cocaine itself is a breeze to kick..

Much like methadone was given to heroin addicts..

Of course the only problem there is that the cure is worse than what it purports to heal..

In that methadone is more addictive than heroin .

You may feel like/wish you were dying when going thru cold turkey from heroin…but it doesn't kill you..

Whereas cold turkey on methadone could well end your life…

And it is a life sentence ..that methadone ..

      .. that's why it's known as liquid handcuffs…

..and here's the really insane thing..some people addicted to p…are being given methadone…

To my mind this is complete fucken insanity ..

..to get someone addicted to stimulants…(A kickable addiction) addicted (for life) to an opiate more powerful than heroin…

      How..in any way…is that logical/rational drug treatment..

It makes much more sense for them to use cocaine..to help rid them of the p-monkey..

Cocaine causes far less harm from extended use..than p …and even more less harm…than that vile nazi-smack…methadone…

I posted two comments here earlier..one a commentary on question time…

Between submit and here…they seem to have vanished..

Seymour claims there is waste in the school food programme.

The evidence shows that hot meals are the ones with the least waste. Some of this is provided in house by schools.

Seymour plans to end support for hot food and back (out of school) commercial suppliers of packaged non hot food – which he calls “nutritious and delicious”, as if it is an upgrade – lying grifter.

A letter from 12 Republican senators threatened the ICC chief prosecutor Karim Khan QC with severe consequences for him, his family, and his staff if he issues an arrest warrant for Netanyahu.

    You have been warned.

    • SPC 9.1

The 12 men support another Trump presidency knowing he intends to install his people across government to create an executive regime unlike any in that nations history.

The zeal to protect the exercise of unaccountable power at home and abroad makes them a threat to their own republic and their own peoples liberties, every manifestation of fascism has its tell, a boastful throat full of words of false prophecy.

Mitch McConnell and the GOP outed themselves as corrupt before Trump became POTUS, this by blocking the appointment of Garland (they could see R B-G's successor being decided by the next administration). Their desire for control of SCOTUS, was not for the cause of justice – as their actions prove time and time again.

    • SPC 9.2

It does more fully explain that the UN has failed because the Americans would only engage with the wider world on the basis of being able to exercise unaccountable power. And this power is also held to a lesser degree by the UK, France, China and Russia.

However note that while Putin (*Russia also rejects the jurisdiction of the ICC) is declared a war criminal – the Americans threaten consequences if any of their allies is placed in that position … *Israel rejects the jurisdiction of the ICC …

However near all of their allies accept the jurisdiction of the ICC.

The 12 ask why not the Iranian leadership – they could have made a case to the ICC (over Quds etc), if they had been members … doh.
