Hey, hope it's ok I post this re "the virus". There are some statistics in this video which concern me. Biggest risk is that ICUs will be overwhelmed and there will be nowhere to get treatment from.

For goodness sake at least pick up prescription meds especially if you have a asthma or something and have basics to treat the 'flu. I'm chucking in some elderberry syrup as it is scientifically proven to reduce symptoms and shorten the duration of viral infection – making sure all the close whanau has some because it might keep them out of hospital.

    Surprise!

Tonight TV1 reported on Jacinda's State of the Nation speech to the Business world today.

My surprise was that it was reported in positive terms to a Business audience who received Jacinda "warmly" and with positive optimistic outlook.

Simon! Why weren't you there to stir up spite and ridicule?
    Edit. Can’t find the link.

How the hell is the first photo in this piece helpful? In what is a tragedy, how does it help to response with guns?

It doesn't, it's stupid and police and the MSM are being dickheads.

There use to be a state of being around death and tragedy in this country – it was call decorum.

MOSCOW (Reuters) – The Kremlin said on Wednesday that President Vladimir Putin had no view on a proposal that would see his job description change to Supreme Ruler from head of state after a government commission said it was considering the idea.

The title change is one of an array of possible alterations to the Russian constitution put forward by members of a government commission set up after Putin earlier this month said he wanted to change the Russian basic law.

Putin, 67, proposed his own constitutional changes, which were widely seen as giving him scope to retain influence once his current presidential term expires in 2024, though he has said he does not favor the Soviet-era practice of having leaders for life who die in office.

About the alt-right Dutch tRumper who claimed he had Ambassador Yovanovitch under surveillance and made up shit about how he was a successful space investor working with NASA and in the FBI and did DEA jobbies on the side.

What I took from that is if the ICUs are over run (entirely possible), by laying on your stomach in prone position you might increase your chances.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/118861324/disabled-injured-patients-hugely-disappointed-to-be-moved-from-laura-fergusson-rehab-centre

"Rehabilitation and respite centres across the North Island are "transitioning" hundreds of patients out of their care because it can no longer afford to run services."

'Transitioning'..riiight…So..we live in a country where parents of severely disabled children are unable to access respite care and are forced to put their child in full time care..or slowly drive themselves into the ground..and keep in mind many parents were unable to access even this limited option…
