     The way I read it, either Collins thinks the Telegraph hack-job was written in good faith, or she knows it wasn’t, and is trolling.

     In other words, she’s determined to display her stupidity and low character.

     Supposedly she was demoted for a minor offense. More likely she was caught doing some behind the scenes deals with a different faction of the National Party than the one the prime minister was in and he used that as an excuse to take her down a peg while hiding the true inter-turmoil in their party of the various back stabbing factions.
     A brief glimpse into the hidden world of the hidden in-party fighting was shown in the emails that formed the foundation of a certain book that showed how Slater and co rolled moderates out of top National Party positions and seats with lies.
