Jon Stewart is awesome. I wish we had something similar over here – John Key wouldn’t last five minutes. As much as regular journalists deride Stewart’s work he does a far better job of informing the public about what’s really going on than the “he said, she said” journos ever could.

Have to agree with daveo. Jon Stewart ran through almost all of the arguments for the US actions AND highlighted why they are pathetic. He managed to do it in a way that was disturbingly funny. We do need more of something like this in NZ.

Abu ghraib was a few bad apples. Some apples that we now know the names of. America is not a signatory of the ICC. Other countries are however. Should any of those named bad apples show up in signatories territory, they should be arrested.
McPhail and Gadsby gave it a crack, and “Facelift” was loosely in the same stream of thinking.
Maybe naked news could give it a crack?
