After months of playing coy, the latest from the the land of the Tea Party is that Sarah Palin will not be running for president. Read her letter here, it begins:
October 5, 2011 Wasilla, Alaska
After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order. …
The current rise of populism challenges the way we think about people’s relationship to the economy. We seem to be entering an era of populism, in which leadership in a democracy is based on preferences of the population which do not seem entirely rational nor serving their longer interests. ...
The server will be getting hardware changes this evening starting at 10pm NZDT.
The site will be off line for some hours.
She wouldn’t have got the nomination anyway. Neither will Rick Perry or Michelle Bachmann.
Romney will get it, hopefully Obama will get a second term.
Brett, can you see past the two part scam, probably not very likely. What is it Brett , do you like to feel like youre on the winning team? Did you know you are supporting the guy that will probably go down as the worst President in history. Doent matter to you though eh because he is on the blue team. YAY Brett..
American politics almost makes ours look good, Palin is a joke of a human being. Perry is dying under the weight of his own liers history coming out, Romney will go the same way, that is why the establishment are promoting Cain, who is a FED insider…
The USA is a broken, hollow country and my guess is its going to turn very ugly very soon!
Only two things backing the US today, that is its military and intelligence machine, and the fact that its dollar remains the reserve currency of the world because it is needed for trading oil.
Empty-headed sabotuers don’t go away that easily.
Take Tony B Liar, for instance: he’s still hanging around like a piece of rotten meat that won’t actually rot away, so it gives off an awful stench wherever it turns up.
Yeah fuck Tony Blair, the Palestinians were right to say he is biased. A real shame Palin isn’t running, the race would have destroyed her as a media personality. However her Fox contract was probably too lucrative to give up.
I do wonder how Obama will do campaigning on being the lesser of two evils though, he got over the line last time by painting himself as visionary, now he seems to be relying on someone scary from the Republicans winning the primaries.
Of course Blair is biased: to the big banking cartels. Which happen to have far more to do with Israeli connections than with Arab and Palestinian connections.
‘After much prayer..’ yeah by us.
McCarthyism is what she practices worshiping the almighty dollar religion is her dog whistle
Palin made some interesting comments recently about the “right vs left” thing, and how it was outdated and that we now had a corporate/state vs people situation.
This doesn’t, of course, make her presidential material, but these are ideas I have seen elsewhere
Our politics is now about the influence of the top 1% against everyone else.
She is making too much money for very little work fleecing stupid Tea Partiers. Running for President is hard work and the quitter from Wasilla doesn’t like that.
