Sroubek; Richie Hardcore Text Released

An OIA request for the unsolicited text sent by Richie Hardcore to PM Jacinda Ardern has been successful.

The text, released to Matthew Hooton, is no smoking gun:

“Myself and my friends and the community wanted to pass on their respects and praise for the decision about Jan Antolik, Karoul Sroubek, he’s made a bunch of really bad choices but he’s a good guy deep down, so thank you to Ian and yourself for giving him another chance.”

Nothing incriminating there.

A second text has also been released. It appears to be from fraudster Alex Swney, who was in prison at the same time as Sroubek:

“U [sic] r too polite to say it but I will – Bridges & hte Nats r being bastards about this Sroubek saga. I want to assist with information I hve included in an email I hve just copied u in on. If I can please advise.”

On the face of it, there is nothing much to either communication, though obviously, the reference to an email in the second text is bound to be followed up.

Richie Hardcore seems to be assuming that the PM had something to do with the Minister’s decision. However, there is no actual evidence to suggest that is correct.

Much ado about nothing, really, though I suppose the right will try and pick the bones out of it anyway.

Frankly, the next time we hear about Sroubek should be as he’s waved goodbye at the airport.

Iain Lees Galloway remains a good, hardworking Minister. He’ll have learned from this episode and his future remains bright.

Jacinda Ardern, of course, will just sail on serenely, charming the world as she does.

And the Nats, as we have come to expect under their current leadership, have failed to land a knockout blow. However, there is an obvious answer to their lack of ability in the Parliamentary ring.

Simon Bridges should simply sign up for some one on one personal training with Karel Sroubek.

Or maybe he could ask Jacinda for Richie Hardcore’s number?

      He thanked the Prime Minister for being involved in it that’s why. Involved in it because she’s the PM, she’s involved in everything, accountable for everything and responsible for everything. Like John Key – he was congratulated when the All Blacks won the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cups. You did send him texts didn’t you?

      The State Highway near us I regularly travel down is in poor shape with uneven places and the PM’s responsible for that too. I’m going to send her a text message about it. My name will be all over the news when Hooton and the united scumbags ask under the OIA for every text the PM has ever had and my name comes to their attention.

      When they find I’ve also texted her about the other SH nearby to thank her for the improvements to it they can make up a story about a “serial texter.”

        I saw all the comments when she put the petrol prices up, but somehow missed the ones when they tumbled, seems this commenting business is a little one sided, although Im sure it has nothing to do with who pays the piper because then we may believe we are being taken somewhere we may not have otherwise chosen.

    p.s. About time the Govt. wised up to the fact that the top echelon of the State Sector are not their friends, they are out to get you! Simon Bridges was coughing up the next trickle of this story early each morning in the media, the info came from somewhere…

    Which is not to skate over the many defects of Immigration NZ that need a good cleanup either, but really this Govt.’s ministers are not battle hardened yet–“politics is war waged by other means”–Class War in my view, but given that there are only a couple in the Labour Caucus with glimmerings of a class analysis that would likely not be an accepted view!

      In the first couple of weeks of their time they should have gone into some sort of retreat and been totally immersed in studies of proctology. That is the only training which could have prepared them for the realities of the job.

      I know a few top sports people who make mistakes in the throes of their chosen jobs.

        The issue is not even about his “mistake” but the NZ offical stupidity that some convicted criminal low level sports person, currently in prison, who seems well connected is again is getting preferential treatment by politicians and immigration when he has already shown to be a burden in every aspect from his past warrants in his home country to his deception on getting to NZ in the first place, to the fights with wife, to in spite of his already chequered record being able to get her residency through the same business. The fact that she is dating a Natz shows the political leanings that are being imported into NZ in massive numbers through the above dodgy means. White colour criminals and drugs importers who are hanging out with politicians and their groupies are coming to NZ to commit frauds and illegal activity here for their own profit.

        Now convicted, he is expecting the NZ to continue to fund his lifestyle of criminal activity and hanging out with political jocks . Mum looks keen to join in, on the NZ residency wicket too, no doubt.

        And ILS first instinct is to say ‘yes’, to giving special residency to this scum ball. To his credit ILSe has at least had the decency to change his opinion when looking at the context and the lies and history, a bit more thoroughly!

          Tell us how you know that ILG’s ‘first instinct is (sic) to say ‘yes’, to giving special residency to this scum ball.’

          I think you made that up, you guessed, you speculated. I do not think you know what his first instinct was. I can understand you not wanting bullshit around Sroubek and his mother but arguing about it with bullshit?

      NB: your response should reference relativities to previous ministers’ work habits, given that it’s physically impossible for a minister to read the entirety of every single document that’s prepared for them.

      And
      Oh st*ff it’s time to say that it is entirely possible, just as details of an issue with the person and his ex-wife came to light in a very convenient and National Party connected way, that the co-alition govt NZers elected has people in influential places whose loyalty still lies elsewhere.
      That won’t hold water with you I know but I wonder what others think.
      Likewise if Bridges is the best the National Party can offer up as leader what sort of state are the rest of them in and exactly where do their loyalties really lie?
      For one they have no vision, not for NZ anyway as the main priority, nine years is evidence of that.

          NZ officials are so pathetic they can’t even do their job and deport clear cut convicted criminals.

          The immigrations lawyers are in the clover, making sure that the ‘rich’ white colour criminals are coming here a plenty so their is plenty of further revenue and litigation in the pipeline!

          Also no surprises that people importing in drugs that can be used as the ‘white collar’ rape drugs are being supported by lawyers who have already been exposed for their rape and harassment culture at the big law firms. They believe they are above the law, and it is certainly looking like they are right!

          Talk about furthering your own profitability and looking after your own self interest!

          No wonder NZ has 25% more lawyers per capita than the UK, while we are completely dysfunctional in practical terms from giving away free assets like water to corporations to choosing not to prosecute the people who were responsible for the company that killed 29 NZ’ers.

      By the way, I L-G is a bloody good Munster and there are already signs that this incident and others have given him a wake-up to a lot of the bullshit that’s gone down over the past decade or so. We’ll have to wait and see I guess but I suspect this incident has prompted him to put his bullshit detector in for a service and oil change.

      In some ways, I was hoping Sroubek was going to be allowed to stay. Sure as shit that’d have served as a constant reminder to the anomalies with, and resources required to implement industrialised immigration, and labour and education standards based solely on economic imperatives.
      Maybe it’d have given Morrisey B the opportunity to write a thriller too: Thiel and Sroubek

    That’s actually not the issue. I’m fully in support of forgiveness and rehabilitation.

    The issue is if he’ll continue making such bad decisions and the evidence in the public domain (He went back to his native country under an assumed name) is that he will.
