Spending the weekend hoping Aussie music legend Molly Meldrum makes it. Ok, he’s sometimes a bit of a plonker, but its hard to dislike a bloke who loves both AFL club St Kilda and was also a founder member of rugby league’s Melbourne Storm. Molly is also proudly gay and has done a hell of a lot over many years to oppose bigotry against that community, particularly in sports.

  2. My band is playing The Lido Cafe (Cnr Victoria & Wakefield) in Wellington on Saturday night from 8.30-10.30pm. Free but I AM considering a ‘user pays’ charge for Tories. Whoops, is that political? 😉

[lprent: advertising? Free? I’ll let it past. ]

Bazar – moved your comment to Open mike – this post is for non political chat.

Have a grand weekend all – I’m going to be doing a massive house / garage clear out.  Oh Joy.

    I thought I’d post this.

Not political in any way. A simple proposition for a nature documentary called “March of the Mallards”

or alternatively an absolutely geniusly complicated intricate and convoluted piece of nasty politics from the penguin

The Hundertwasser Museum in Vienna was well worth a visit. His connection with New Zealand makes it a Kiwi ‘must see’ while here.

Girlfriend is being particularly nice to me to convince me to go to her family Christmas today. I’ll see how long I can stretch this goodwill out and then probably go back to bed.
