A quick press release after the unhelpful comments by the PM on Medical Cannabis yesterday. http://auckland.scoop.co.nz/2017/04/current-medical-cannabis-regime-anything-but-compassionate/
I would be super stoked if it kicked in in say 2025, increasing more slowly though, My parents, and my wifes parents can both afford to push back the pension..... could also means test it to age 70 before it becomes an entitlement.
Looks like a legal challenge of the Government's stance on Medical Cannabis is brewing. http://publicaddress.net/hardnews/is-the-ministry-of-health-acting-outside/
DiZagreb. My experience as an employer is often the better you treat people the more you get ripped off or they take advantage. Example. 10 years ago. Help desk started at 35k ish. We paid 45k. We also had 10%of the working week as paid mandatory training ...
Has anyone noticed the low level of skill our reporters (sic) have? Spelling and grammer errors abound. I'ld probably take more notice of articles like this if the writer was literate and didn't try to be faux hip using bad language (often a sign of lack ...
Signed.
A patient story regarding Medical Cannabis, this time from one of your own readership here at the standard. http://mcawarenessnz.org/2016/08/09/chronic-pain-edge-society/
Medical Cannabis on One News tonight, thanks to HK for hooking the charity up with a Reporter.
Thanks for the promotions of Our charity Fundraiser, going down the business donations route now, got 3 sets of couples vouchers to hells gate hot pools in Rotorua, trying to pin down some accommodation too to auction or raffle off as a package.
Cannabis based products can be whole plant too... Sativex is 2 strains of hashoil with chlorophyll removed, in a spray can with peppermint to taste better
Pretty annoyed with the lack of support for MC for chronic neuropathic pain in the Medical fraternity
Follow up to Helen Kelly's Endorsement of Medical Cannabis Awareness New Zealand, our next patient in our fundraising pool is Dr Huhana Hickey MNZM, check out how 4 months of Sativex has benefitted her here. http://mcawarenessnz.org/2016/05/14/mc410-dr-...
No, but longer term, if a similar product was at that price, it skews Pharmacs Cost/benefit ratios, the cheaper the better if there is a decent whack of clinical trials behind it.
Sure do... http://www.statewidecollective.org/sublingual_oral_buccal_sprays
Hi Adam, http://mcawarenessnz.org/
Indeed, there is a similar mouth spray in Cali for 1/3rd the price. Thats the next hurdle, but people need it in the here and now.
Hi Weka, I am Co ordinator for the charity, :) will upload an "about us" to our website soon. We have a pool of 10 patients we are fundraising for, however that seems subject to change, (one child tragically passed away the day they were due to start ...
Please to announce the formation of a charity committed to Medical Cannabis. http://mcawarenessnz.org/2016/04/15/medical-cannabis-awareness-new-zealand-launch-press-release/ Rather than protesting etc, we are keen to raise public awareness through the ...
OK John, I will Knock 3 times and then we run ok? and try to keep up this time!
I see on social media that Marama Davidson has been lending some moral support to Peter Dunne's gradual moves on Medical Cannabis, only to be attacked by all and sundry in the recreational crowd, (NORML, Cannabis party) for the stance. A seismic shift has ...
Speaking to a user of alcohol extracted cannabis tinctures, who has then gone to sativex, Sativex being a balanced blend of THC, which gets you high, and CBD which is actually an antidote for the worst mental effects of THC. He likens responsible use of ...
It is possible to get stuff under the current obsolete laws, but I and many other patients I have been in contact with feel the doctors have to be dragged kicking and screaming. We have kids where a 3rd lobe of the brain being removed is preferred to ...
Someone knows his stuff :) yeah ECM against a sidewinder is a pretty out there concept,
Peter Dunne will be on Radio Live with Duncan Garner in 5 mins regarding MC
After being a Nats voter, switching to IMP solely for me support of Medical Mary Jane (well that was a wasted vote), and now having met Kevin Hague my personal views are best matched by the greens.
Please guys, Check out United in Compassion NZ, who have been in touch with Helen Kelly allready. http://unitedincompassion.org.nz/ They need you support.
@northshoredoc if you support MC that is pharmaceutical grade stuff, check out http://www.statewidecollective.org/products Also, United In compassion would like to get a handle on educating the medical side, to that effect a symposium is scheduled for next...
Most of the blocking in the USA, or at least financing of Anti med pot lobbies were actually the Prison unions... there are a few pharmaceutical companies that were financing it, but nothing to the scale of the prison unions.
He still has contacts in Green, so at the very least, there is some out of schedule training going on similar to Predeployment training.
NZ Herald did a poll on Medical Cannabis, 70% support access to Medical Cannabis under strict conditions. I would take that as a win. Class B drugs by definition are strict anyway..... http://m.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=11512929
I have to agree with Draco, & most people I know don't give a shite about rugby or pubs.
