Child poverty seems to be the political issue of the moment. All parties will want to be seen to be doing something about the growing number of children living in poverty.
But it can be difficult to separate the spin from the serious policy. Luckily, I have managed to get my hands on a top-secret document that sets out in detail National’s plan to tackle the child poverty issue.
Click the image below to read the document in full.
The server will be getting hardware changes this evening starting at 10pm NZDT.
The site will be off line for some hours.
Shouldn’t the plan at least have a title to distinguish it from any blank piece of paper? There could be a page number at the bottom too. 😉
I am unable to bring up the document on my PC
wise up Dr Terry.
thats the plan!
You have to admit it has a certain aesthetic about it, not to mention an honesty. Would love to know how much CT got paid for that presentation.
The saddest part of this was that the blank document wasn’t necessary.
The headline is satire enough on its own.
It took me a few goes to realise it wasnt supposed to terry
Comment from IF’s post:
“That document moves in and out of policy on a daily basis.”
I thought from the headline it was going to be a plan to increase poverty, thinking the Nats had decided the sheeple were now tame enough to handle the truth about the intentions behind their policies.
There is absolutely nothing in that plan that I/we/they could disagree with.
It got me. I thought it was going to be Dr Swift’s ‘Modest Proposal’
show us the money.
Just like jkey.Blank.
Jolly good work Imperative Fish and The Standard
Appreciate the laugh
…and succinct summary of the leaked plans
Very good indeed
Plain packaging works according to them
I have read this stuff before.
Where the hell are the footnotes and citations?
Yes. No expert support for their conclusions, so typically lacking in substance for a National party approach.
Quite amusing, pity it isn’t also a Rick Roll.
I thought National were talking C.R.A.P.
Hmmm, just as I suspected.
This matches the braying dunny at the Venice thingy.
