lprent, agree except I will wait and see what happens. Feel like I've been given a black eye. Vodka soothes.
If it is true about the Ardern / Davis ticket I predict this will become a disaster. IMO Ardern is feather light and a totally unconvincing politician. Davis will have no appeal except in the Maori seats which I accept is the reason for his ticket.
There is no need for Andrew to go , to get a lift in his leadership and the polls, all Labour need to do is dump the MOU. The MOU is a great big bloodsucker on Labours back. Labours head office and Andrew seem oblivious.
Ed, 6.27pm Grow up, Metiria and the Greens are striking at Labour, no one else.
Psych nurse. Not hoping for what you express but the " Vote for Labour is a vote for the Greens" will strengthen and further diminish the Labour party vote. Labour seems helpless to the Green's onslaught. MoU togetherness my arse.
Not sure what Northland has to do with the MoU?. Are you saying that Winnie owes Labour because Labour stood aside? You may have a point, remains to be seen. Should Winnie be the Kingmaker and I am unsure that he will be the only one, it will take months ...
McFlock, not sure what made you say , what you have said. The MoU is a disaster, Labour and the Greens cannot get traction in the polls, except off each other, and they both will have to rely on Winnie to form a government. Winnie knows that's and (if?) he...
Ardern is a lightweight politician that's why she only wants Mininister of children, important but not earth shattering, she has never had a real job and has been sucking on the NZ taxpayers tit most of her adult life. She talks set pieces , much like ...
I just sincerely hope that we end up with Labour first, Winnies party second and the Green a long way third, for a coalition government. The Greens are full of nutters including Metiria, they would not safe in leading and responsible portfolio's.
Robert Guyton, yes I have read Chris Trotters article, a worthy piece of writing. But I am afraid that is all. Look at reality; Winnies bottom lines, referendums on Maori and number of Parliamentry seats, which will have both Labour and the Greens turning ...
Robert Guyton, I said a left hook and meant a left hook. They need to throw a few more to knock some reality into the Green "10%'s we rule the world mentality". The Greens may be sincere and of course they may dream, but they will turn this election into a...
Mickeysavage, The real trick is to get polling traction for Labour, won't happen whilst the MoU is around its neck. IMO Labour will only get upwards traction if they dump on the Greens and Winnies party. Labour should and probably does know that but it ...
The MoU is in tatters. Labour is being responsible. Meteria and the Greens will be fuming. The left is starting to look like a dogs breakfast. The Greens have just been given a left hook by Labour and about time to.
marty mars 9.53, of course they need to do what you say, but they do not do it very well because they want to be National lite themselves. Labour will never get poll traction whilst the NZ First and Green parties make the headlines by sideway attacks on ...
Gabby: 9.32 Maybey?.
I believe that both policy statements from the Greens and New Zealand First were ' smash and grab ' on Labours support base. They both sense weakness in Labour and both have entered a 'no holds barred' attacks through policies on Labour's polling. I sense ...
Sara, Thank you for your kind comment xxxxxxxx's
By golly it looks like the Greens are going to make all New Zealander's rich. I intend to take a overseas holiday across the World, courtesy of the NZ taxpayer and the printing press's. Thank you Metiria and James, you are two very self important people. ...
Muttonbird, South Auckland and Auckland City every day, except Sunday. Please enlighten the readers, Why can't Labour get traction?.
Pete George, Andrew Little needs to dump on the Greens big-time. He and his advisors need a kick up the arse for putting up with the nonsense which is the Green party. The MoU has been made a joke by the Greens and Labour's cravenness to it. Labour let me ...
Cynny, confession I am not Batman, though he is my friend in combat, I am Spiderman, be careful I spin a mean web. Intractable.
Weka, The Greens.
RedLogix, Is it to late to blame John Key?.
weka; If you do not know now, then you should ask the L/P leadership. Expect @451$!!!!.GrGrGrGr. Reply.
Cinny, You should look at 'House of Cards', they wear suits and skirts to boot.
Weka, they are trying to fuck a workable political coalition against Labour. Let me remind you of the MoU and the obligation of political togetherness.
Sacha, weka, sorry but 'whiting anting' is an accepted political term across the political world. Just like 'scabbing' is also accepted word across the world.
Psycho Milt, I believe that's Coates said most forcefully, Winnie to go and fuck yourself. Not MoU manners.
weka, The MoU that's why.
weka, I use the term white anting because the Greens are white anting Labour. Labour needs to speak up against these sideways attacks against them.
weka, I disagree the Greens are trying to fuck it up now.
